Car Hire in Kalami

We are returning to kalami for the first time in 9 years - arriving August 16th. Really looking forward to it.
At the moment we are planning to get a transfer from the airport on arrival, then hire a car for a week in the middle of the holiday. Can anyone advise whether it is easy to hire a car in Kalami, and approximate cost (for a family of 4 in Focus sized vehicle)? Would I do better to try and sort this out before we go? Also - is petrol availablity ok?

Can't wait to get back to Kalami again.

Your best bet is to hire locally, we do all the time, I am in Corfu at the moment and we pick up a jeep on saturday and we got a very good deal
I think you will be looking in the region 130 to 180 euro for a car of that size.
As for the petrol side of things they are getting back to normal after the strike, there is no problems with petrol in messonghi (south of the Island)
