Sidari

Sidari is located on the north coast of Corfu approximately 26 miles from Corfu town and Airport. The beach at Sidari is divided into three parts, It’s main beach is
long and sandy with little shingle, the other beaches can be found just east of the small harbour and the famous cove “Canal D’ Amour” slightly to the west, on the other
beaches you will find it is a more of a sand and shingle mix.
The waters of Sidari are shallow and shelves gently out to sea makes it Ideal for children and the
not so strong swimmers, you will also find a good selection of water sports from pedalos to jet skiing so something for everyone,
not forgetting you can hire sun beds and umbrella’s for a few euros a day.
The bay of Sidari is surrounded by fertile hill side that in covered in olive, cypress and the odd fruit trees making this an Ideal place to explore for the walkers
amongst us, again if are going to walk any distance in Corfu take plenty of water with you and a snack or two, it can get very hot in there afternoon.
Shopping in Sidari is very easy as there is a very good selection of super / mini markets combined with gift shops that stay open till the early hours.
Nightlife in Sidari has something for everyone, ranging from bars, music bars and a few clubs, as for eating out you will be spoilt for choice.
Sidari is a busy resort with good shopping, tavernas and entertainment, but if you stroll along Sidari’s winding roads and alley ways you will still find true Greek culture and hospitality.
