Hi, and welcome to the Holiday Corfu Forum, the No1 information forum regarding the beautiful island of Corfu.

Each village/resort will have their own celebrations, and I will contact a good friend of mine in Sidari to find out the
details for you. At the same time, coach trips will be organised to get to Corfu Town for the big celebrations and marches.

Watch this space.

Hi Anne & Tam,
I have been in contact with my friend who resides in Sidari and they inform me that there will be plenty going on in Sidari, mostly organised by Hotels and Apartments for their guests. At the same time, excursions/trips will be organised to Corfu Town on the 5th May for the big celebrations in the town.

There will be midnight masses in the local churches in Sidari, and all are welcome. Besides the Easter Parades on the sunday in Corfu Town, there is the pot smashing on the Saturday at 11am. Worth going to see, but do keep behind the lines. Again it is better to take an organised trip, or the local bus service as parking will be a nightmare.

If I locate any further information, I will forward on to you.

If you are unable to organise a trip to Corfu Town, I am sure there will be plenty of Green Public buses from Sidari to Corfu Town. See the bus timetable here,

CORFU BUS TIMETABLES

Try telephoning the following travel companies to arrange coach excursions to Corfu Town:

Sidari Travel: 0030-26630-95342, 95333
Sellas Spiros Corfiot Travel: Tel. 0030 26630 95501 or 95502............Fax. 0030 26630 95321

Hope this is some help to you.
