Thomas Cook travel money fiasco.
I went on line Wednesday morning to find out who offered the best rates for euros for our holiday. Thomas Cook was the best exchange rates so set about ordering on line. Completed the order then the TC end bugged out. Had to ring TC to make sure my order hadnt gone through. TC operator said why not buy on the 'phone and put me through. I purchased my euros with a confirmation they would be with me by 1.0pm Thursday. Thursday came and no travel money. Called TC and was told 'oh no sir it wont be with you till Friday'. Apparently the lady who served me was new starter. I ordered well before the 2.0pm day before deadline but well say no more. Shant be using TC again. So remember if you want next day Euros order them at least TWO days before.

I used Sainsburys who offered a good exchange rate, and delivered the next day without any problem, and at no cost. One also gets a discount
if using your Nectar Card.
