Has anyone recently had the builders electric changed to residential electric?
could you please advise me what cost were incurred as we are about to change to residential and wonder how long it takes and the costs

Can't help you, but i'll try and find out from some ppl i know who swapped electric over. i just went for straight electric after the building was finished, and that was slow going.

As I understand it.
From builders to domestic is "easy peasy" providing your house is built completely to plan and your accountants have all the invoices etc to prepare the relevant paperwork.
Cost wise.... - Allow e100 maximum to your accountant for preparing the paperwok and around e600 for the switch.
This e600 is split between the electicians union and the electric company.
Usually your agent will handle all this for you. - Bottom line is around e750
( Unless you've "cheated" on plans etc. Then it may become more expensive as you may have fines to pay or "palms to cross". )
