Ahhh Spam, remember twas the first thing I learnt to cook in the Boy Scouts circ 1958. Mix flour and water to make a paste (later to find it was called batter). Open tin of Spam and slice evenly to half inch thicknesses. Dip Spam slices in paste and with a red hot frying pan, been on the camp fire warming to nearly cherry red, place spam 'fritters' into pan and fry till burnt. Tasted better than my Mums Wiltshire sausages. Them were the days, why should England tremble when theres Scouts to save you all? .....Ging gang gooley, gooley, gooley watch our ging gang goooo, ging gang goooo etc... :wink:
